Astro-English: from Astronese, the use of the word Astronic here denotes the tradition of astronomically-themed beliefs and practices ranging back to prehistoric times; the stellanic functions of Astronist funerary practices and beliefs are denoted through the use of the word necrology meaning “the study of funerary practices and beliefs regarding death.”
